ROMAN STYLES

FLAT ROMAN

A versatile shade that hangs straight and collapses into folds as it is raised.

SOFT ROMAN

A soft roman shade is more of a relaxed look, allowing the fabric to arch under its own in the centre.

HOBBLED ROMAN

A hobbled roman shade is designed with overlapping folds cascading down the full length of the shade.

Shade must be reachable by hand so maximum install height is roughly 7.5 feet tall.
Roman is operated by pulling the roman down and up into position by hand.
Shade is controlled by 5" sheer lift bands that glide through ribs secured to the back of the roman shade.
Please note that there is a permanent extra fold at the bottom of the roman that remains when the shade is down. This is there as a functional means so that there is room to pull down the shade to activate the spring to roll up.
Depth of Hardware is 2.5" and can be inside mount of Outside mount with small returns to cover hardware.

Back with Lift Bands and Spines

The headrail is controlled by a wand that you pull down which raises the shade.
To lower the shade, the wand is pulled out and the shade falls.
The cords on the back of the shade are conceiled by a sheer pocket.
This pocket scrunches up when the shade is up and is not visible from the front view.
This type is not recommended for large or very long windows with heavy fabric.
Depth of Hardware is 1.5"

Back with Sheer Pocket

Shade is controlled up and down by 5" sheer lift bands that glide through ribs secured to the back of the roman shade that go onto a roller tube.
Motor is standard noise level and speed. Quieter, stronger motors are avaiable at request and are quoted individually.
Motors with DC capability and Wifi controlled are available upon request and would be quoted individually.
Depth of Harware is 2.5" and can be inside mount of Outside mount with small returns to cover hardware.
